The Living Mind
One person. Many worlds. The same lessons, returning.
Not a score, and not a diagnosis. Each region is a lesson; each floating world is a project; every thread leads back to real work. Select anything to trace it.

The Terrain
Nearest is not always reachable
Draft โ awaiting my own wordsOn an island, a short line across water is not a route. On a factory floor, a low-waste cutting pattern can still be impossible to run. In both, the useful answer had to respect physical limits first, so the constraints became part of the design brief rather than an obstacle to it.
Comes from: The Islands of Access (Access follows roads and stops at the coastline); The Factory of Constraints (Trim-optimal patterns can break station and sequencing limits); The Optimization Table (Optimization under real-world mess โ the same question in a model).
The Balance
Show the trade-off, then step back
Draft โ awaiting my own wordsNeither the siting work nor the planning system hands down a single best answer. Each lays out feasible options with what they cost and who they leave out, then leaves the decision with the people who are accountable for it.
Comes from: The Islands of Access (Candidate sites compared on coverage, cost and equity); The Factory of Constraints (Planners approve or override proposed schedules).
The Workshop
Design the whole workflow, not just the model
Draft โ awaiting my own wordsIn consulting work and at Deltara, the model was never the whole product. Review, exceptions, approvals and hand-offs back into existing systems decide whether anyone can use it, so they get designed with the same care as the algorithm.
Comes from: Systems at Scale (Review and escalation designed into operator tools); The Factory of Constraints (Approved plans flow back toward ERP-compatible execution); The Workshop of Small Sellers (Agents framed around a seller's whole marketing loop (being documented)).
The Neighborhood
Help a community be found
Draft โ awaiting my own wordsA boxing gym and a youth event scene can both offer real belonging and still be hard to reach. Making the way in visible โ where it is, what it offers, how to join, what happens at the door โ turns out to be a design problem worth taking seriously.
Comes from: The Neighborhood Ring (A website that makes local gyms easier to find); The City That Shows Up (Entry and attendance as one welcoming step).
The Crowd
See it through everyone in the room
Draft โ awaiting my own wordsAt an event, attendees, organizers and brands each want something different from the same night. In consulting, the operator running a system sees it differently from the engineer who built it. Designing well starts with whose day this actually is.
Comes from: The City That Shows Up (Attendee, organizer and brand needs at one event); Systems at Scale (AI platforms for operators who did not build them).
The Lens
Make information usable for decisions
Draft โ awaiting my own wordsMaps, models and dashboards only matter when the person responsible can read them and act. Across the public-sector siting work, the capstone and consulting analytics, the job was to turn analysis into a decision someone can make with confidence.
Comes from: The Islands of Access (Geospatial analysis shaped for officials to read); The Optimization Table (Model results translated into a plain-language choice); Systems at Scale (Analytics built around a commercial decision).
Connections between worlds
Feasible beats optimal on paper
The Islands of Access and The Factory of Constraints โ through โNearest is not always reachableโ and โShow the trade-off, then step backโ. An island province and a film factory look unrelated. Both showed that the mathematically convenient answer โ the nearest facility, the lowest-trim pattern โ can be unusable in the physical world, and that people need to see the trade-off before they choose.
Belonging needs a visible way in
The Neighborhood Ring and The City That Shows Up โ through โHelp a community be foundโ and โSee it through everyone in the roomโ. A neighborhood gym and a youth event scene both depend on approachable touchpoints: a site that shows where to go, an entry that lets you in without friction. Participation is designed as much as it is offered.
The workflow is the product
The Factory of Constraints and Systems at Scale โ through โDesign the whole workflow, not just the modelโ and โNearest is not always reachableโ. Whether it is a factory schedule or an operator's AI tool, a convincing demo is not a working system. Approvals, exceptions and hand-offs into existing operations are where it becomes usable.
